Martha's Stories
Martha Wiens from Leamington is the guest artist at the St. Jacobs Schoolhouse in two weeks. Yesterday her quilt stories arrived. Martha loves rework, embroidery and fancy stitches... often embellishing with beads and buttons. The quilt stories are exciting...filled with diversity, colour and love. Don't miss this delightful show.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter! It is time to get creative. The quilt show is just one month away. Talk to Wendy if you would like to hang a quilt at the Schoolhouse. Kathy Langill has enough vendors to fill all the spaces at the Merchant's Mall being held in St. James Lutheran Church. There will be opportunities to shop for fabrics, notions and even sewing machines. Look for the lunch booth, catered by the ladies of St. James Lutheran Church.

Visit to Home Hardware
The quilt blocks were assembled complete with sashing and a border. The finished quilt top was hung at The Home Hardware Distribution Centre in St. Jacobs for the annual Spring Market. Visitors enjoyed looking at the variety of homes. Sharp eyes tried to spot the HH logos. One man was wearing a tie made from similar fabric found in one of the Bow tie blocks.
